Homeschool Program: Native Peoples of Michigan

Students will learn about the People of the Three Fires, the Ojibwe, Ottawa, and Potawatomi, in Michigan. They will explore how these native peoples used, adapted to, and modified their environment. Students also will look for spring wild edible plants used by native people. Participants should be prepared to go outside. This program is designed for children in grades K–5.
